Why Caterina Returned for Friends in Need

An Italian newspaper article featuring headlines about a charity event at La Scala, with a focus on prominent performers. It includes images of two women, one dressed elegantly, discussing the success of the show and the funds raised for cancer research.

An Exception for Friends

Despite having decided in the early 70s not to work in Italy anymore due to the frequent peculiar interpretation of signed contracts by the promisors, Caterina always answered a friends call for help. Her appearances for “Una Rosa Per La Vita” Cancer research benefit galas organized by Delia Scala and Dr. Umberto Veronesi were considered triumphal comebacks.
