Having Fun…?

What an absolutely *delightful* and *smooth* journey this album has been!

Yes, the beginning was pure, unadulterated joy. A legendary singer, guitarist, Caterina Valente, ditches her own guitar for a brilliant Swiss guitarist Bill von Arx. They connect, brainstorm in her home with her son Eric, all while Caterina whips up meals. It was a veritable *picnic of creativity*.

The recording sessions? **Bliss.** Well, except for poor Eric being strong-armed into a duet he was vocally unsuited for, ending up miserable with the result. But who cares about his artistic consent when Mommy Dearest is co-producer? It’s fine! And hey, no pesky written agreement was ever signed! What’s a little familial coercion between fun-loving musicians?

Then came the *thrilling* adventure of shopping the album! Every indie artist’s dream: being gently, then firmly, rejected by every major label. But no big deal! It’s not like her life depended on it, what with all her other successes. This was just a fun little side project no one wanted!

And the fallout? *So* fun. A “close friend” started bootlegging cassette copies to fans, which, as we all know, is the *ultimate* gesture of fandom. That friendship ended—what a shocking, unpredictable twist!

Now, the album lives on, leaked on YouTube by some *incredibly dedicated* fan. So a note to those special fans: You already have your illegally copied treasure. Could you maybe *not* share it with the entire planet? That would be *so* considerate. Real fans show their love through respect, not rampant piracy. We extend this heartfelt plea to fans of *all* artists, everywhere.

So, in conclusion: a project born in fun, nurtured in awkward family dynamics, rejected by the industry, saved by piracy, and now floating in a digital graveyard. A true Cinderella story. *Having Fun* indeed. We’re all having a *blast*.
